  1. I am one of a minority of people who is higher on Nick Foles with the Jaguars than most. The reason why? New Jags OC John DeFilippo coached Foles during his magical run in Philly in 2017. Is it realistic to think that we’ll get more of the good Nick Foles than the bad one this season given DeFilippo’s presence?

  1. FANTASY FOCUS: Would you be happy taking Leonard Fournette at his current ADP (3.06 per Fantasy Football Calculator), or would you rather take Aaron Jones, Marlon Mack, or Derrick Henry at around the same juncture of your draft?

  1. How much more lethal does Josh Allen make this Jaguars D? Despite the addition of Allen, the Jaguars will be without three key people on defense this season. They had to cut Malik Jackson and Tashaun Gipson due to cap issues and LB Telvin Smith will be taking the 2019 season off for unknown personal reasons. Which of those three will be missed the most? Do you think the Jags D will still be a top-five unit in 2019?

  1. For the first few years of his career, Marcus Mariota looked like the real deal. The previous two years? Not so much. While not all Mariota’s struggles can be blamed on his health (he’s still yet to play a full season), you have to consider the possibility that his issues last season were in large part due to him being VERY VERY banged up (ulnar nerve issue in his throwing arm, neck stinger, cracked verterbra, broken rib, sprained AC shoulder joint, and a “significant” plantar fascia tear). Assuming he’s infinitely healthier this season, what kind of season does Mariota need to have to warrant a long-term contract extension?

  1. FANTASY FOCUS: Delanie Walker has always been Marcus Mariota’s best friend in the passing game, but he’s 35 years old and coming off a major injury (fractured ankle with ligament damage). If he isn’t the same, Mariota is going to need another threat over the middle to target regularly. And based on last season, Jonnu Smith is not capable of being that guy. Enter rookie WR A.J. Brown, who many in the draft community compared to JuJu Smith-Schuster. He’s likely to be that “BIG slot” WR and he runs terrific routes. Do you see Brown becoming that threat over the middle if Delanie Walker’s play declines and Jonnu Smith remains inept?

  1. The Titans have an underrated (potentially elite) secondary but they need better production from their edge rushers. Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan both retired, leaving them with 37-year old Cameron Wake and second-year player Harold Landry atop the depth chart at that position. If Wake has one more 8-10 sack season left in him and Harold Landry (4.5 sacks last year in a limited role) can take the next step, how good can this Titans defense be this season?

  1. Last year, despite displaying his enormous, no QB took a beating more than Deshaun Watson, as he was hit a league-high 126 times thanks to a sieve of an offensive line. To address their OL woes, the Texans signed turnstile OT and mega-draft bust Matt Kalil and drafted two project OT’s in Tytus Howard and Max Scharping. On paper, is this Texans OL even worse than last year’s monstrosity? Can Watson, who suffered two ACL tears, take that much of a beating and be as productive as he was last year with a 103.1 passer rating?

  1. FANTASY FOCUS: Would you be surprised if Keke Coutee (11.03 ADP) becomes Deshaun Watson’s second option in the passing game behind DeAndre Hopkins rather than Will Fuller (9.04 ADP)?

  1. The Texans secondary took a bit of a hit in the offseason. They lost Tyrann Mathieu and Kareem Jackson in free agency and replaced them with Tashaun Gipson and Bradley Roby, respectively. Both, while not terrible, are considered downgrades. How much of a downgrade is that in your view? If Justin Reid takes that next step forward this season, how much will that hide the losses of Mathieu and Jackson?

  1. FANTASY FOCUS: Which new addition to the Colts receiving corps will make the biggest fantasy impact in 2019: Devin Funchess or Parris Campbell? Does Funchess’s presence make Eric Ebron’s current ADP (7.10) a bit rich? Ebron probably isn’t catching 13+ TD’s again

  1. Jack Doyle missed 10 games last season due to injury and the Colts offense seemed stuck at times without him. Just how important is he to this offense?

  1. Despite a lack of playmaking talent outside Darius Leonard, the Colts were 11th in total defense last season. Now you add Justin Houston, Malik Hooker now two years removed from an ACL tear plus the addition of several promising rookies, how much better can this Colts defense be this season? Which of their Day 2 defensive draft picks is likely to make the biggest impact in 2019: Rock Ya-Sin, Ben Banogu, or Bobby Okereke?

  1. Truth/Exaggeration

-Andrew Luck will set a career high for TD passes this season

-If the Jaguars repeat what they did in 2018 as opposed to 2017, they will blow up the roster during the 2020 offseason

-Corey Davis will post his first 1,000-yard receiving season of his career despite Ryan Tannehill playing 2-3 games

-DeAndre Hopkins will post an even better stat line in 2019 than his 115 catch-1,572 yard-11 TD 2018 campaign.
